<p>The invention relates to a device and a method used for depressing the bolts of the roller chains in order to dismount the same. According to the invention, the device consists of a press () with a base plate () supporting a rotary plate () with two working points for each chain size type, each working point being provided with a body () with channels for positioning the chain and with a body () for guiding the rods which displace the bolts. As claimed by the invention, the method consists in selecting the working point adequate to the chain size type, introducing and positioning the chain into the body (), mounting the screen (), actuating the press handle, depressing the bolts and recovering the same.</p> |
