The invention relates to accelerative technology and can be used for generation of electronic and ionic beams of nanosecond duration with high pulse repetition frequency. A linear induction accelerator comprises a ferromagnetic induction system (1) in form of a set of ferromagnetic cores encircled by magnetising coils (5) and a single forming line (2), earthed and potential electrodes of which are connected to a magnetic pulse generator (4), the generator consists of successive compression loops, each formed by a capacitor and a saturating choke, the winding of a magnetic switch (3) is connected between the earthed electrode of the single forming line (2) and magnetising coils (5) of the induction system. The winding of an additional saturating choke (6) with a core made from ferromagnetic material is connected to electrodes of the single forming line (2), and an additional single forming line is connected between the potential electrode of the single forming line (2) and magnetising coils (5) of the induction system (1), said additional single forming line (7) having parameters which are in defined ratio with other parameters of elements of the linear induction accelerator. The technical effect of the invention increases amplitude and cuts duration of the pulse of discharge voltage of the forming line which is transmitted to magnetising coils of an induction system. |
