1. A compound having formula II:wherein:
X is nitrogen; R1 is a moiety selected from the group consisting of a nitro, cyano, hydroxylamino, alkoxylamino, unsubstituted hydrazino NR9R10, NHCOR11 and NHCOOR11; R9 and R10each are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, C1-8alkyl, C3-6cycloalkyl, C1-6 alkyloxyC1-6alkyl, carbonyloxyC1-6alkyl, mono- or di(C1-6alkyl)aminoC1-6alkyl, mono- or di-(hydroxyC1-6alkyl)aminoC1-6alkyl), arylC1-6alkyl, and heteroarylC1-6alkyl, each optionally substituted with 1 or 2 substituents each independently selected from the group consisting of C3-6cycloalkyl, hydroxyl, C3-6heteroaryl, C6aryl and C3-6 heterocycloalkyl; or R9 and R10 form an optionally substituted pyrrolidinyl, piperidinyl, homopiperidinyl, morpholino or thiomorpholino group when taken together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached; R11 is a moiety selected from the group consisting of C1-6alkyl and substituted alkyl; R2 is OR12 or SR12; R12 and R13 each is a moiety independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, C1-8 alkyl, C1-6alkyloxyC1-6alkyl, carbonyloxyC1-6alkyl, mono- or di(C1-6alkyl)aminoC1-6alkyl, mono- or di(hydroxyC1-6alkylaminoC1-6alkyl, arylC1-6alkyl, and heteroarylC1-6alkyl; and R3 and R7 each is a moiety independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, cyano, R12, OR12, SR12 and NR12R13, COYR14, (CH2)nNR12R13, (CH2)nCONR12R13, (CH2)nNCONR12R13, and (CH2)nCSNR12R13; R4, R5 and R6 each is a moiety independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, cyano, R12, SR12 and NR12R13, COYR14, (CH2)nNR12R13, (CH2)nCONR12R13, (CH2)nNCONR12R13, and (CH2)nCSNR12R13; R14 is hydrogen Y is selected from the group consisting of a bond, NH, and O; and n independently is 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4; or salt thereof. |
