A data communication method using a two dimensional frame number in a wavelength division parallel visible light communication system and a device thereof are provided to assign a new frame number, thereby realizing visual light communication when transmitting a visual light communication signal. A frame divider(810) divides and outputs data into data frames. A frame number generator(812) assigns serial numbers to sub frames in the divided frame. A wavelength number generator(811) assigns ID numbers to different wavelengths. A two dimensional number combiner(814) produces corresponding ID numbers of each wavelength and a two dimensional frame number in which the sub frame numbers are combined. |
