The present invention relates to a display device and a bi-directional control method using the same. The display device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises; an image receiving unit which receives image data from a mobile communication terminal using a mobile high-definition link (MHL) method; a display unit which outputs an image corresponding to the image data; a touch panel unit which senses the contact of a user applied to a touch panel and produces input data corresponding to the contact; a control unit which produces a terminal control signal for controlling the operation of the mobile communication terminal using the input data and sets an image output of the display unit using the image control signal inputted from the mobile communication terminal; and a communication unit which forms a wireless communication with the mobile communication terminal and transmits and receives the terminal control signal and the image control signal. |
