A method for determining the reception level of a radio wave signal in a ray tracing radio wave environment is capable of drawing reflection and transmission properties, a progressing direction, and a radio wave signal intensity distribution by analyzing a correlation of a height and an altitude on a rough surface, which is recognized by the surface of a surrounding obstacle according to the length of a wavelength in a signal transmission process if a radio wave about a high frequency band over a millimeter wave is estimated and also, determining the amplitude of the signal transmitted to a receiver by approximating an element to reduce the overload of analysis time by precisely analyzing the scattering of the signal according to surface roughness. Thereby, the error of a ray tracking technique is reduced and the accuracy and efficiency of the radio wave property estimation are improved.
