PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet head capable of preventing a new problem such as, degradation of throughput, etc., and suppressing pressure fluctuation causing instability of discharge if discharges of droplets with a high duty is intermittently continued.SOLUTION: A liquid jet head includes: a pressure generating chamber in which ink is filled; a piezo electric element 18 for causing a change of pressure to the ink in the pressure generating chamber by supplying drive signals S1, S2; a liquid jet head body 10 having a nozzle opening ejecting the ink in the pressure generating chamber due to the change of pressure; and a control part 110 supplying the drive signal S2 for driving pressure generating means and preventing a water hammer to the pressure generating means so that the pressure generating chamber is expanded in a non-ejection period after an ejection period in which the droplet is ejected by the drive signal S1 for ejection. |
