PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical insulation universal coupling capable of further improving electrical insulation and reducing the number of components.SOLUTION: An electrical insulation universal coupling 1 has an outer cylindrical member (inlet pipe) 103 and an inner cylindrical member 10 which are fitted with each other, and both of the cylindrical members are rotatably connected together by a stop ring 37. A fitting part between both of the cylindrical members is sealed by an airtight O-ring 33, a watertight O-ring 35, and a fireproof expansion packing 31. Furthermore, an electrical insulation coating 40 is provided at the fitting part 15 between the inner cylindrical member 10 and the outer cylindrical member 103. The coupling itself can be electrically insulated by electrical insulation coating of the fitting part of the cylindrical members of the coupling. Thus, the number of components can be reduced in comparison with a conventional electrical insulation universal coupling. |
