PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspending base metal not easily coming off from C-shaped steel even when a large shake occurs on C-shaped steel in the event of an earthquake.SOLUTION: A suspending base metal 1 includes an upright plate part 3 having a hook part 2 hooked onto a lower lip part 10c of C-shaped steel 10 on an upper side, a lower plate part 4 bent and extended forward from a lower end of the upright plate part 3 and having a screw hole 4a for a ceiling suspending bolt 20, side plate parts 5,5 bent almost at a right angle and extended forward from right and left ends of the upright plate part 3, and right and left upper plate parts 6,6 bent almost at a right angle and extended outward from upper ends of the side plate parts 5,5 and having screw insertion holes 6a,6a respectively, and the upper plate parts 6,6 are fixed on a lower surface of a lower flange part 10a by a tapping screw 13 screwed into the lower flange part 10a of the C-shaped steel 10 through the screw insertion holes 6a,6a in the state of hooking the hook part 2 onto the lower lip part 10c of the C-shaped steel 10. |
