PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide door closing mechanism being which can secure necessary strength and rigidity while adopting a structure including fastening parts arranged only on the near side of a guide rail and attempting miniaturization and does not cause increase of costs or the weight.SOLUTION: Fastening parts 'a' and b fastening a belt-side bracket 15 which supports an engagement member 14 engaged in a drive belt 11 of a drive unit and a roller-side bracket 16 which supports a guide roller 13 guiding a slide door along a guide rail 7 and a vertical roller 19 are arranged only on the side of insertion of the guide roller 13 into the guide rail 7, and the belt-side bracket 15 and the roller-side bracket 16 are superimposed so as to form a closed cross section in which a hollow part extends in the vehicle width direction and fastened.
