PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor the color change between different pages or the same page in a plurality of copies.SOLUTION: A color change monitoring unit 100 includes: a page count/copy count acquisition unit 101 which acquires the information on the number of pages per one copy of an output image output based on output image data, and the total number of copies; a color change monitor information generation unit 102 which extracts an area group for monitoring color change from the output image data according to the number of pages and the total number of copies, to generate color change monitor information; a color change monitoring execution unit 103 which monitors color change between different pages of the output image or the same page in a plurality of copies, on the basis of chromaticity data corresponding to the output image and the color change monitor information; and a color change warning unit 104 which issues a warning to a user about occurrence of color change upon determination that the color change has occurred.
