PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device high in liquid crystal control force and permeability capable of being manufactured by a low manufacturing cost and a simple manufacturing process without requiring an additional manufacturing facility of the liquid crystal display device.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device according to one embodiment includes: a lower plate electrode including at least one lower plate unit electrode; an upper plate electrode including at least one upper plate unit electrode facing at least the one lower plate unit electrode; a liquid crystal layer including a plurality of liquid crystals aligned almost vertical to the faces of the lower plate electrode and the upper plate electrode. The lower plate unit electrode includes a stem forming a boundary between a plurality of sub-regions and a plurality of fine branch parts extending in a different direction in sub-regions different with each other. The upper plate unit electrode includes an opening part extending parallel to a stem part, and does not include an alignment auxiliary agent. The maximum length of the fine branch part is nearly 53 μm. |
