PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and safely remove a cable sheath without providing a notch in advance in the cable sheath in the longitudinal direction thereof.SOLUTION: A cable sheath removal tool 1 comprises: a first blade 11 provided in a body 10; a holding member 16 provided in the body 10 and used for cutting a sheath in a ring by rotating the tool 1 with respect to a cable within a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the cable while sandwiching the cable together with the first blade 11; and a second blade 17 provided so as to be taken in and out so that the first blade 11 and a blade face are substantially perpendicular during cutting in a ring, and used for making a cut in the sheath in the longitudinal direction of the cable. The blade face of the first blade 11 is provided such that when a cut is made in the sheath in the longitudinal direction of the cable together with the second blade 17, the blade face is rotatable in a perpendicular direction from the state of cutting the sheath in a ring.
