The present invention relates to a card connector for inserting an electronic card which includes a housing having a receiving chamber; a tray which has a load chamber for loading the electronic card and is inserted into the receiving chamber of the housing through an insertion port at one end of the housing; and a first detection contact provided onto the housing. An opening corresponding to the first detection contact is formed in the tray. When the tray including the loaded electronic card is inserted into the receiving chamber of the housing, a part of the first detection contact which is inserted into the tray through the opening, touches the electronic card to allow the first detection contact to be moved by the pressure of the electronic card. |
