PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle provided with a power engagement release mechanism capable of suppressing the deterioration of fuel economy of the vehicle upon travelling in such a state that power transmission to a follower wheel of a four-wheel drive car is intercepted.SOLUTION: In a four-wheel drive car (vehicle) 100 provided with a disconnect mechanism (power engagement release mechanism) 9, the disconnect mechanism 9 is configured such that an inclination angle of a support shaft of a roller is changed for an input disc and an output disc, thereby, power transmission amount between the input disc and the output disc is changed and is provided on a power transmission course from the engine 1 to rear wheel (follower wheel) 11L and 11R. Further, one side of the roller and the input disc (or output disc) is cut off and, thereby, power transmission is intercepted. |
