摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a durability life management method of a friction fastening element which urges countermeasure action to a driver while retarding progression of cumulative damage degree when a friction fastening element gets near to durability life.SOLUTION: A durability life management method of a friction fastening element comprises: a cumulative damage degree calculation procedure (steps S2, S6, S10); and a durability life information procedure (step S12). The cumulative damage degree calculation procedure calculates a cumulative damage degree y of a clutch 23 since a vehicle starts running. The durability life information procedure, when detecting that the cumulative damage degree y gets near to a usage critical value (y=1) of the clutch 23, changes a gear change time of an automatic transmission 2 provided on a driving force transmission system from the gear change time C or B before the cumulative damage degree y gets near to the usage critical value (y=1) to a short gear change time A of a predetermined time or less which causes a driver to intentionally notice the occurrence of gear change shock.</p>
