PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator apparatus that can call attention of passengers in an elevator car and at the landing to opening/closing of a door in a simple structure and does not restrict the design of the elevator car.SOLUTION: An elevator apparatus comprises: an elevator car that ascends and descends and stops at a landing; a pair of doors 14 that are provided at a gateway 18 for the elevator car and moves in a horizontal direction to open and close; and a pair of door hangers 4 that hang and move each of the doors 14. One of the pair of door hangers 4 has a roller 5 provided on a lateral face opposite to the other door hanger 4. The elevator apparatus is arranged above the gateway 18 and positioned between the respective rollers 5 when the doors are open, which further comprises a cam 6 capable of moving up and down and a signal light 7 fixed to the lower portion of the cam 6. Each of the rollers 5, when the doors 14 are closed, pushes up the cam 6 and moves up the signal light 7, and when the doors 14 are opened, moves down the cam 6 and the signal light 7 without supporting the cam 6. |
