PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorption type heat pump in which pressure loss of a working medium is reduced and which is miniaturized.SOLUTION: An adsorption type heat pump includes: an adsorber 10 including a plurality of reaction chambers 20 which include a first adsorbent for performing adsorption and desorption of a working medium at least at one part of wall surfaces, and first flow passages 14 arranged between the reaction chamber 20 and the reaction chamber 20 and circulating a first heat exchange fluid F1; and a heat exchanger 50 including working medium holding parts 60 which are inserted in the plurality of reaction chambers 20 and have a second flow passage 54 performing holding and separation of the working medium and circulating a second heat exchange fluid F2 inside.
