PURPOSE: A PAMAM(polyamidoamine) derivative for nucleic acid delivery is provided to improve a buffering capacity and transfection efficiency without cytotoxicity. CONSTITUTION: A PAMAM derivative for nucleic acid delivery contains PAMAM, histidine, and a cationic compound. The cationic compound is lysine, arginine, or guanidine. The surface of PAMAM is grafted with the cationic compound which is conjugated with a histidine residue. PAMAM is a dendrite type dendrimer. |
