PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior structure that never causes entry of rain water from a screw hole and the entry of the rain water by capillarity.SOLUTION: There is provided an exterior structure in which flat plate parts 11, 21 are formed into a mountain side exterior plate 1 and a valley side exterior plate 2 by bending right and left lateral edges thereof in the same direction and folding back the tips thereof inward to form side edge forming parts 12, 12, 22, 22, and the mountain side exterior plates 1 and the valley side exterior plates 2 are alternately arranged on a base 4 to continuously forming mountain parts and valley parts. In the exterior structure, a holding member 3 having a rising part 32 with a fixing part 31 to the base 4 in the lower end, a folding part 33 formed by folding an upper end of the rising part 32 to the outside, and a wedge part 34 with a slope 341 on the tip, is fixed on the back side of the mountain side exterior plate 1. The tip 222 of the upward side edge forming part 22 of the valley side exterior plate 2 is disposed so as to be housed in the inside of the folding part 33 and the wedge part 34 of the holding member 3. The tip 123 of the downward side edge forming part 12 of the mountain side exterior plate 1 is disposed so as to be brought into abutment with the slope 341 of the wedge part 34 of the holding member 3. |
