PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary kiln for dissolving product to be processed in which durability and anti-corrosion of agitating blades are improved.SOLUTION: A rotary kiln 1 for dissolving product to be processed comprises a metallic cylinder 2 that can be cooled with water from outside and into which the product to be processed is fed; refractory 3 lined inside the cylinder 2; and metallic agitating blades 4 contacted with an inner peripheral surface 2a of the cylinder 2 and arranged to protrude over an inner lining thickness of the refractory 3 from an inner peripheral surface 3a of the refractory 3. Since the agitating blades 4 are contacted with the inner peripheral surface 2a of the cylinder 2, when the cylinder 2 is cooled with water from outside, a temperature of cold water is transmitted well from the metallic cylinder 2 to the metallic agitating blades 4 and even if the inside of the furnace is kept at such a temperature as one in which the product to be processed is dissolved, it is kept at such a temperature as one in which the agitating blades 4 are not dissolved and lost. |
