PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data read processing apparatus configured to reduce the time required for a master to read data from a memory.SOLUTION: A memory controller 13 includes a descriptor read unit 41 and a first divided data read unit 42. The descriptor read unit 41 reads descriptor from a memory 12 in response to a descriptor read request transmitted via a bus 16 from a USB interface unit 14 as a master. The first divided data read unit 42 reads divided data specified with an address indicated by the descriptor read from the memory 12 by the descriptor read unit 41 without making the divided data read request to the memory controller 13 from the USB interface unit 14.
