PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extension structure of a base-isolated building, which can shorten a period for stopping a base isolation function of an existing base-isolated building in extension work for the base-isolated building, and an extension method for a base-isolated building.SOLUTION: An extension structure of a base-isolated building includes: an extension base-isolated building that is constructed separately from an existing base-isolated building, adjacently to the existing base-isolated building; a connection part that is provided in the existing base-isolated building with a base isolation clearance for the existing base-isolated building between it and the extension base-isolated building; and a connection member for connecting the extension base-isolated building and the connection part together. |
