PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vane pump capable of reducing driving torque and reducing seizure and wear while ensuring pump performance.SOLUTION: A vane pump comprises a housing 2 with a pump chamber A formed in the inside, a rotor 3 disposed at a position eccentric from the center of the pump chamber A and rotatively driven, a vane 4 slidably supported by the rotor 3 and partitioning the pump chamber A. The vane 4 has: a first vane part 41 with a tip abutted against an inner peripheral wall 29 of a housing body 21 of the housing 2, which forms the pump chamber A; a second vane part 42 with a tip abutted against the inner peripheral wall 29 of the housing body 21; and a spring 43 biasing the tips of the first vane part 42 and the second vane part 42 to an inner peripheral wall 29 side of the housing body 21. The first vane part 41 and the second vane part 42 have a structure in which a load in an opposite directions to the biasing direction of the spring 43 is generated by centrifugal force caused with rotation of the rotor 3. |
