The present invention relates to a small generator using a refrigerant that generates electricity by using an expansion force of the refrigerant. The small generator using a refrigerant is provided with an expansion unit and a power generation unit that is coupled with the expansion unit. The expansion unit is configured to have an external cartridge that has an inner space portion in which the expanded refrigerant is accommodated and has an opening portion which connects the inner space portion to the outside; a cam ring that is positioned apart in the external cartridge, has a passage which is connected to the space portion of the external cartridge, and has a cam ring space portion in which the refrigerant is expanded; a rotating body that is positioned in the cam ring space portion; a rotating shaft to which the rotating body is attached, the rotating shaft protruding to the outside through the inner space potion of the external cartridge; and a refrigerant introduction pipe that is connected to the cam ring space portion through the inner space portion of the external cartridge. The power generation unit is configured to have a stator that is coupled with the expansion unit; and a rotor that is attached to the rotating shaft extending from the expansion unit. According to the present invention, refrigerant flow can be smooth and any decrease in cooling and heating effects can be prevented during power generation using the expansion force of the refrigerant. |
