Disclosed is a thruster for a vessel. The thruster for the vessel according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an accommodation unit having an opening on the base of a hull; an elevation member inserted to the accommodation unit while being lifted; a thrusting body connected to the elevation member, protruding from the base of the hull for producing propelling force; a cover member prepared on the bottom of the thrusting body to cover the opening when the thrusting body is accommodated in the accommodation unit; and a support member having one end connected to the thrusting body and the other end connected to the cover member. The support member is formed into a wing-shaped cross section to provide additional propelling force by accelerating the flow velocity. |
