PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of performing a predetermined function along with update of firmware, a control method of the image forming apparatus, and a program.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 identifies firmware necessary for performing a predetermined function, updates the identified firmware to new firmware, controls, when the identified firmware is updated to the new firmware, the image forming apparatus to be capable of performing the predetermined function, and updates, when controlled to be capable of performing the predetermined function, firmware excluding the identified firmware. |
