PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect and extract a specific object area with the suppression of incorrect discrimination even in an imaging scene having an object area resembling the specific object area.SOLUTION: An evaluation value acquisition unit 100 acquires an imaging evaluation value indicative of an imaging scene imaging the image, on the basis of an image obtained by imaging. An image division unit 120 divides the image into a plurality of block areas. A feature amount calculation unit 130 extracts each feature amount indicative of the feature of each block area. An area discrimination unit 140 discriminates whether or not each block area belongs to any object area, on the basis of the imaging evaluation value and the feature amount. |
