PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic device capable of preventing a semiconductor switch from being damaged by detecting a poor contact of a connector part.SOLUTION: An ultrasound diagnostic device has a probe, a body and detection means. The probe has a semiconductor switching part configured to transmit a pulse of a high voltage to a transducer corresponding to a first switch element turned on by a control signal received from a first connector part in a state in which a prescribed bias voltage from the first connector part is applied to a semiconductor switch. The body has a control part for transmitting the control signal to the semiconductor switch via connectors including the first connector part and a second connector part and a pulse generation part for transmitting a pulse to the transducer via the connectors and the first switch element. The detection means detects whether the prescribed bias voltage received via the connector is applied to the semiconductor switch when the control signal is transmitted to the semiconductor switch before the pulse generation part transmits the pulse.
