PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quickly preparable and low-risk method for preparing hydrogel comprising an injectable thiol group, and to provide a hydrogel preparation kit, and to provide a use of hydrogel and a method thereof.SOLUTION: Hydrogel is prepared by binding (a) a water soluble polymer containing a thiol group to (b) a water soluble metal salt in an aqueous solution. Hydrogel can be prepared quickly to be used as blood vessel sealant, a vessel closing device or a drug delivery carrier. Preferably, AuClis used as a metal salt. As a water soluble polymer, Polysaccharide, gelatin, cellulose, starch, lipid, albumin, collagen, polylysine, or the like is used. The water soluble polymer comprises polyethylene glycol comprising at least four branches. The hydrogel is biodegradable and is prepared in less than about 60 seconds. |
