PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely detect a camera device's normality.SOLUTION: A camera device 2 comprises: an optical lens 6; an imaging element 7 for converting optical video of a subject 5 incident from the optical lens 6 to an electric signal; a focus adjustment unit 8 for performing focus adjustment on the optical lens 6; and a control unit 11 for making the optical video of the subject 5 be imaged at a position of the imaging device 7 by controlling the focus adjustment unit 8. The control unit 11 comprises a pixel value comparison unit 10 which makes optical video of the subject 5 in a subtle out of a focus state be imaged on the imaging element 7 by making the optical video of the subject 5 be imaged at a position apart a predetermined distance from the position of the imaging element 7, compares pixel values of pixels adjacent to each other in the imaging element 7 obtained from the optical video of the subject 5 in the subtly out of focus state on the imaging element 7, and determines that abnormality may occur in pixels related to the comparison when a result of the comparison exceeds predetermined difference.
