PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable, by adhering, in a case where a post-treatment liquid is jetted from an inkjet head and adhered to a recording medium, a quantity of the treatment liquid optimal in accordance with a printing speed for forming an image, a post-treatment after the formation of the image.SOLUTION: The provided image formation method is an image formation method including a pre-treatment liquid adhesion step of adhering a pre-treatment liquid onto a recording medium prior to the formation thereon of an image, an image formation step of forming an image atop the recording medium, and a post-treatment liquid adhesion step of adhering a post-treatment liquid onto the recording medium following the formation thereon of the image wherein the adhesion area of the post-treatment liquid is smaller than the area of the portion on which the image has been formed, wherein the adhesion area of the post-treatment liquid is set to wane as the printing speed is accelerated, and wherein the adhesion area of the post-treatment liquid is set to wax as the printing speed is decelerated. |
