PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electronic device in which an organic electronic element on a substrate is sealed by a barrier film, and in particular the sealing of the end is reinforced.SOLUTION: The organic electronic device includes a substrate 1, an organic electronic element 2 formed on the surface of the substrate, and a barrier film 4 stuck to the substrate. The barrier film is stuck to the substrate so as to seal the organic electronic element together with the substrate. The barrier film includes a base material, at least one layer of an organic layer, and at least one layer of an inorganic layer. One of at least a part of the end of the barrier film or at least a part of the end of the substrate is bent so as to hold the other thereof, and in the bent portion, a counter layer 5 is integrally provided in at least a part of the one thereof. |
