PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication device capable of reducing power consumption at waiting for reception.SOLUTION: A radio communication device 1000 in a first radio communication system includes: a power detector unit 105 for detecting reception signal power; an envelope detector unit 103 for detecting the envelope of the reception signal; a signal determination unit 104 for determining whether or not the reception signal is a first signal for use for communication in the first radio communication system, based on an amount of variation in an envelope signal; a radio communication unit 108 for radio communication; and a radio communication activation unit 107 for activating the radio communication unit, when the reception signal power is detected and the reception signal is determined to be the first signal. |
