PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fall prevention wire capable of alleviating the impact when an apparatus falls even when using the wire with a large wire diameter used for the apparatus with a larger weight or the like, while being compact and good in assemblability as well as being capable of restricting damage to the apparatus or peripheral members of the apparatus when the apparatus falls.SOLUTION: A fall prevention wire 1 comprises: a wire main body 2 folded back to have an annulus in part; and an elastic member 4 with a cross-sectional V attached to the inside an annulus 3 of the wire main body 2 and having an elastic force in an angularly opening direction from a bent part as a starting point. The elastic member 4 is arranged such that the bent part of the elastic member 4 is directed to the axial direction of the wire main body 2. |
