<p>This management device is provided with a plurality of element devices and a box. The plurality of element devices are connected to equipment and monitor and/or control said equipment. Said element devices are placed in the box before being brought to a work site. The package, i.e. the combination of element devices placed in the box, is determined in accordance with the types of the aforementioned equipment. The box is also provided with an interface unit for connecting to one or both of the following: a higher-level device for consolidated management of the equipment; and/or another management device.</p>
