The present invention provides a magnetic-component-mounting structure and a power converter provided with same. The magnetic-component-mounting structure is capable of the efficient thermal cooling of a magnetic component even in a case where the amount of heat generated by the magnetic component is high, and improves the vibration resistance of the magnetic component, which is a heavy article. The structure for mounting a magnetic component (20) is provided with an elastic thermally conductive member (36) and a mounting member (30). The elastic thermally conductive member is disposed on the top surface of the magnetic member (20). The mounting member secures the magnetic member (20) to a chassis (2) with the thermally-conductive member (36) interposed between the mounting member (20) and the top surface of the magnetic member (20). The mounting member (30) is made of a metal member having a pressing section (31), a case-mounting section (32), and a lid-mounting section (34). The pressing section presses the thermally-conductive member (36). The case-mounting section extends downward from the pressing section (31) and is adapted for securing the magnetic component (20) to a bottom section (7a) of a case (7) constituting the chassis (2). The lid-mounting section extends from the pressing section (31), and is adapted for securing the magnetic component (20) to a lid (10).
