PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet head capable of suppressing degradation of discharge location accuracy of an ink.SOLUTION: An ink jet head according to one embodiment includes a substrate, a diaphragm, a first electrode, a piezoelectric crystal, a second electrode, and a protection film. The substrate includes a pressure chamber provided from one end part thereof to the another end part thereof. The diaphragm blocks the pressure chamber at the one end part of the substrate and has a nozzle communicating to the pressure chamber. The first electrode is provided on the diaphragm on the side opposite to the pressure chamber. The piezoelectric crystal superposed on the first electrode, changes a capacity of the pressure chamber by deforming the diaphragm. The second electrode is superposed on the piezoelectric crystal. The protection film is provided on the diaphragm to cover the first electrode, the piezoelectric crystal and the second electrode and has an opening having a first inner peripheral surface disposed apart from the nozzle while communicating to the nozzle. |
