1. A device for detecting a moving object in a blind spot of a host vehicle, comprising:
at least one first ultrasonic sensor of a side view assist system for detecting a moving object in the blind spot; and a control unit for determining at least one of distance, speed and position of the moving object, wherein the control unit is configured to process at least one signal of at least one second ultrasonic sensor of a driving assistance system for monitoring the blind spot. |
