PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a difference between an amount of crosstalk light by oblique incident light from a focus detection pixel to an adjacent pixel and an amount of crosstalk light from a photographing pixel to the adjacent pixel.SOLUTION: An image pickup element has: a plurality of imaging pixels that receive a flux of light passing through a pupil region of an image formation optical system; and a plurality of focus detection pixels that receive the flux of light passing through a pupil partial region serving as a partial region of the pupil region, and the image pickup element is such that a center of gravity of the pupil region and a center of gravity of the pupil partial region are different. For the focus detection pixel, a plurality of transmission members are disposed that have different spectral transmittance, and the transmission member is configured so as to make spectral transmittance of a peripheral part adjacent to the imaging pixel smaller than that of a center part. |
