PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner which does not allow fibrous dust to be easily twisted around a cylindrical filter in a cylindrical container body.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner 1 includes: a cylindrical container body 35; a first cylindrical filter part 37 which is shorter than the container body 35 and housed in the container body 35, for isolating an annular segregation chamber 51 from the container body 35; a separation part 38 whose outer diameter shape is larger than that of the first filter part 37 and smaller than that of the container body 35 and which is adjacent to one end part of the first filter part 37, for separating the segregation chamber 51 and a dust chamber 52 adjacent to each other; and a rotation support part 41 for rotatably supporting the first filter part 37 around a center line C of the container body 35 as a rotation axis. |
