PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tandem-type mechanical seal device capable of suppressing degradation of sealing performance of a mechanical seal.SOLUTION: A casing 1 of a tandem-type mechanical seal device T is provided with a supply passage 21 having a supply port 21a formed near an outer periphery of a circulation ring 18 and supplying enclosed liquid to a liquid enclosing chamber B, and a discharge port 22a formed near the outer periphery of the circulation ring 18 and discharging the enclosed liquid of the liquid enclosing chamber B to the external. Further the casing 1 is provided with a discharge hole 24 formed near an outer periphery of a rotating shaft 2 in the liquid enclosing chamber B at one end 24a, and opened near the discharge port 22a at the other end 24b, and an introduction hole 25 formed near the outer periphery of the rotating shaft 2 in the liquid enclosing chamber B at one end 25a, and opened near the supply port 21a at the other end 25b.
