PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll pump having primary means of angularly synchronizing stationary and orbiting scroll blades of a pump, and a back-up system which maintains the angular synchronization in the case where an excessive drive load is exerted on the orbiting scroll blade.SOLUTION: The scroll pump comprises an annular metallic bellows (250), as primary means of angularly synchronizing a stationary scroll blade (221) and an orbiting scroll blade (231) of a pump, and a back-up system of the bellows (250). The back-up system consists of pins (P) integral with and fixed relative to one of the stationary and orbital parts of a scroll pump (1), and a guide part (400) that is integral with and fixed relative to the other of the stationary and orbital parts. There is no contact between the pins (p) and the guide part (400) during normal operation of the pump. |
