<p>A box 30 for containing and dispensing a tearable sheet material 34, such as cling film or aluminium foil, is elongate and substantially triangular in transverse cross-section. Box 30 has a cutter 36 for the sheet material provided at one elongate edge of the box, which may be formed by a serrated fold line (50, Figure 10) and which may be covered by a tear-off strip 102. Box 30 also has a slot 32, preferably defined by removing a tear-out panel 100, through which material 34 can be drawn. There may be flaps 84, 86 in end walls 62 supporting a core holding material 32. Also disclosed is a box having a guard flap (102, Figure 13) over which material 34 may be drawn between the slot and the cutter (108, Figure 13).</p> |
