This binder for monolithic refractories includes a solid solution obtained by dissolving Ca components in ±-SrAl 2 O 4 or ²-SrAl 2 O 4 , wherein when the Ca components are dissolved in the ±-SrAl 2 O 4 , a crystallite diameter of the solid solution is from 40 nm to 75 nm, and when the Ca components are dissolved in the ²-SrAl 2 O 4 , a crystallite diameter of the solid solution is from 35 nm to 70 nm. |
