CELLULOSE ACYLATE FILM, POLARIZING PLATE AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

Provided is a cellulose acylate film having a thin thickness, wherein a desired retardation can be expressed, and dew condensation randomicity does not occur easily. The cellulose acylate film includes cellulose acylate having a total acyl substitution of 2.60-2.95, and at least one kind of poly-condensed ester containing aromatic dicarboxylic acid residues and aliphatic diol residues. 35-100 parts by mass of the poly-condensed ester is contained based on 100 parts by mass of the cellulose acylate. The ratio of residues containing aromatic groups for overall dicarboxylic acid residues among the poly-condensed ester is 40-100 mol%. The thickness of the film is 20-80μm. The cellulose acylate film satisfies (Formula 1) and (Formula 2). (Formula 1) 30 <= Re(550) <= 100 nm (Formula 2) 90 <= Rth(550) <= 170 nm.
