<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus and a character display method allowing characters to be input with easier operation. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus includes: a display part; an operation unit having a plurality of operation keys in which numbers and characters are assigned to each operation key; and a control unit which allows the characters assigned to operated operation keys to be displayed as input characters on the display unit if the operation keys are operated. If the operation keys are operated and characters including first characters and second characters are input, and when at least a part of the second characters in the input characters is determined to be a character indicative of a unit, the control unit allows a combination of the numbers assigned to the operation keys operated in inputting the first characters and the second characters to be displayed on the display unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
