The crankcase ventilation apparatus comprises: a fresh air inlet passage (15) and a discharge passage (16) which connect an intake passage (12) and a crank chamber (7) of an internal combustion engine (1); an inlet valve (17) which opens and closes the fresh air inlet passage (15); a pump (20) which is provided in the discharge passage (16) ; and a discharge valve (18) which opens and closes the discharge passage (16). When a predetermined decompression condition for reducing the pressure in the crank chamber (7) is satisfied, the inlet valve (17) is closed, the discharge valve (18) is opened, and gas in the crank chamber (7) is discharged to the intake passage (12) by the pump (20). |
