Swimming goggles 1 comprise a left and a right frame body 20/21, each having an inner peripheral face 201/211 forming a hook channel 203/213 and an outer peripheral face 202/ 212 being fit to a users face portions. The glasses further comprise lenses 30/31 being formed with the frame bodies, each lens having a fold line 301/311 to define the lens into a first and second inclined faces 302/312, 303/313. A connecting element 22 interconnects the frame bodies. Protective pads 4 are attached to the inner peripheral faces of the frame bodies, each having a face contact portion 40 and a connecting portion 41. A backup ring 6 has a first peripheral face 60 encompassing the hook channel. Head strap bases 5, each providing a through hole 50, are disposed on outer sides of the frame bodies. Other embodiments show the protective pads being replaced with a backup ring (6) having a counter 61 fitting to the face, with a tangent line T of an arc surface 205 and a Y axial line Y passing through the point of tangency forming an angle θ less than 90 degrees. |
