The copying camera comprises a holder (20) for an original (21), a mounting (17) for a lens and a carrier (7) for a light-sensitive film (9). The holder and mounting each have at least one guide block (22,23; 18,19) slidably adjustable along a rail (11,12) to vary the axial distances between original, lens and film. Each rail has an inner (13,14) and an outer (15,16) guide track, the inner track guiding the block of e.g. the mounting whilst the outer track guides the block of the holder. There may be two parallel rails each having an I-section to form the inner and outer guide tracks for the blocks.
